Pretty in pink and purple

Emily is such a girly girl already. Pink really is her color! She kept smiling here and I almost caught it on camera! One of these days I'll get a picture of her smiling!

Looking at mommy

Emily is starting to get used to having her picture taken. Mommy is starting to learn how to mix and match Emily's onsies with her pink and purple pants. She responds so well to people's voices. It's amazing how much she is changing each day.

All cutied up for grandma's

My cousin Christine bought this outfit for Emily and it is just too darn cute! It looks like a little tennis outfit. Emily and I went and visited grandma for a bit to give Dale a little quiet time to study for school. Emily was a little ball of energy! I was tired just looking at her. She just laid on grandma's bed kicking those little legs a mile a minute!

Wendy is a good friend of mine. She really has been so good to us. She comes over from time to time to keep me company and give me a little break to watch Emily. She just absolutely adores Emily. It's so cute to see how comfortable Emily is around her too. She's become quite a people person!

I just love Emily's cute little outfits. They are so tiny! I can't wait until it's time to change her and put on another cute outfit. Here is a cute Minnie Mouse outfit we got. I love the little pants. :) She loves spending time with her Aunt Ellen! It's so cute how her body goes limp when she's comfortable.

One Little Burrito coming up

Emily loves to be swaddled at bedtime (well, most of the time). I should say, she loves to be nice and warm. She looks so cute when she's swaddled up nice and tight. She's much longer than she was when she was first born.

Relaxing with grandma

Emily loves all her grandmas! It's so cute how grandma's face lights up when she sees her. She looks forward to that little bit of time to hold and cuddle with Emily. This picture was taken after a quick visit with grandma as she came by to visit Emily and pick up her pictures. Sure enough, Emily fell right asleep as soon as grandma started holding her. Too cute!

Here is Emily getting her bath. Poor thing was so cold. She conked right out after she got her nice warm outfit back on though. There is nothing better than feeling fresh and clean!

1 month old birthday

Today, little Emily is 1 month old. My, I can't believe how quickly time flies. She's growing up so fast. She's finally about to outgrow her newborn outfits. I saw this cute little outfit in Bealls and couldn't resist. She loves her cozy blanket and swing. It's amazing how quickly it calms her down, especially with classical music playing in the background!

Professional Pictures - 3 weeks old

Today we took Emily to get her first set of professional pictures. We couldn't believe how good she was! She is a natural in front of the camera.  There were so many great pictures to pick from.
