This year was a very different year and Thanksgiving was no different. It was the first Thanksgiving I didn’t spend with family. I’ve been suffering all week with an upper respiratory infection and the fever has still not broken after a week. Everyone fears when they are sick worried it might be COVID-19. I ate leftovers alone while Emily went to mom’s. Didn’t want to rob her of the holiday too. Hopefully this will be over soon. Just can’t keep going like this.
